Bigger is Better
Fit-Out of BPO Office (2nd Branch)
“Go big or go home” may be the common phrase but for this particular project, “Go big
AND go
home” is more fitting as we bring BGComm’s 2nd branch to its chairman’s
hometown, Negros. At 1000 sq meters, its size is almost 10x bigger than their first!
Dumaguete is truly a charming small town filled with the kindest, most beautiful people
(who, by the way, speak English fluently which is why a lot of BPOs are being built
here). With a quirkier design than a typical BPO office, the client wanted a more fun,
relaxed interior to help alleviate the normal, stressful working environment of BPOs.
The walls were mostly painted with bright accent colors in a concrete finish, while the
furniture and table partitions were all customized to integrate well together. This not
only maximizes the lay-out, but also allows efficient mobility of furniture for
different uses.
This was actually CTVill Team’s first out of Luzon’s project—and our biggest one at the
time. To say that it was challenging would be an understatement. However, despite the
setbacks in shipment and construction, mostly due to the distance of the location, the
team still managed to complete the project within a 3 month-timeline. A feat we are
really proud to have accomplished, and of course would have been impossible without the
help of our partner subcontractor, suppliers, interior design firm, and our entire team,
both site- and office-based. This project has not been an easy ride but as they may have
said, the bigger the hurdle, the bigger the learning. And the journey was definitely
worth it.
