Details Matter
Fit-Out of System Developer Office (2nd Branch)
Last year, we constructed Nexbridge’s 75 sqm office in five days, a challenging timeline
we thought we could not hit. But perhaps as quick as things have started for this system
developer company, just a year later, we were already constructing their bigger (350sqm)
office to house their now tripled number of employees! A truly inspiring feat for a
startup! Aside from the hardworking young (including the CEO, of course) members of
their team, this unrelentless growth can be attributed to their unique way of developing
systems. They would not be doing the product first and selling them in the market, but
instead, they start by doing an in-depth study of the details of their client's existing
workflow, then coming up with a customized system that best suits their process. In this
way, the employees will have an easier time adapting to the system since it’s basically
just a more efficient way of doing their routine before!
Because of this, our team decided to also create a detail-oriented office that will
showcase the character of their company and employees. All the furniture and partitions
were customized and manually built, lay-out was well-thought of to maximize the seating
capacity of employees, yet still have spacious brainstorming area, reception area,
discussion nook, and sleeping pods. Blackboard and whiteboard paints were applied to
some of the walls of the office both to make them look good and functional. Lastly,
witty programming/computer-related stickers were used to decorate and label some of the
rooms such as diskette for storage room, and binary code of “M” and “F” for male and
female toilets.
We are so happy seeing our clients grow over time. By making an office that suits the
nature and personality of their company and its employees, we hope to create an
atmosphere that will help boost productivity of their employees and hopefully help
contribute to the continuous growth of the company.
